Who is responsible?

Struktur ApS, company registration number 40233598, is the controller for information about guests at Restaurant Struktur. Contact us at C.W. Obels Plads 16, 9000 Aalborg, info@restaurantstruktur.dk or +45 28 182 183. Website: https://restaurantstruktur.dk.

Table reservations

We use EasyTable to manage reservations. We process your name, email, telephone number, visit details and requests to manage and contact you about your reservation. The legal basis is performance of a contract or steps you request before entering into one (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Reservation information is retained for two years after the visit or cancellation.

Booking comments

If you enter special requests or allergies in the comments field, we use the information to prepare for and accommodate your visit. The information is stored with the individual reservation.

When you contact us

We use your contact details and message to answer enquiries and arrange events. Contract-related enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(b); other enquiries rely on our legitimate interest in guest service under Article 6(1)(f). Enquiries are retained for two years after they are closed.

Newsletter

When you subscribe, we use Drip to send news and offers from Restaurant Struktur. We process your email, any supplied name and subscription details. For subscriptions through EasyTable, customer record, creation and latest-visit details are also transferred to Drip. Newsletters rely on your consent under Article 6(1)(a). Subscribing is optional and you can unsubscribe using the link in an email. Drip can record newsletter opens and clicks to measure and tailor marketing.

After unsubscribing

We stop sending newsletters when you unsubscribe. Other newsletter profile data is deleted within three months. Necessary consent and withdrawal evidence is kept separately for up to two years after the last marketing email sent under that consent. We retain a minimal suppression record solely to prevent old booking records from resubscribing you, for as long as that reimport risk exists. You can subscribe again through our website. Evidence and suppression records rely on our legitimate interest in documenting and respecting your choices (Article 6(1)(f)).

Gift cards and payment

Life Peaks ApS administers gift cards on our behalf. Purchase and delivery involve your name, email, telephone number, any delivery address and gift-card details. The legal basis is the purchase contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Gift-card data is retained for 12 months after expiry. Payment processors and card acquirers process necessary transaction data. Accounting records are retained for five years after the end of the relevant financial year as required by bookkeeping rules (Article 6(1)(c)).

Cookies, analytics and marketing

Cookiebot manages your cookie choices. Google Analytics provides visitor and booking-flow statistics; Meta and Drip provide marketing functionality. This can involve device and browser information, pages visited and actions taken. Cookies and tracking requiring consent rely on Article 6(1)(a). You can change your choices in the website’s cookie settings, which also describe individual cookies and their lifetimes. Google Analytics may also receive cookieless measurement signals when analytics consent is denied. This does not mean that no information is sent to Google.

Analytics retention

The shared Google Analytics property is configured for two months of event data and 14 months of user data, with the user period restarting on new activity. These periods do not cover all aggregated reports. Meta may retain information about your actions on the website for up to two years. Advertising audiences may be retained until deleted.

Operations and recipients

EasyTable processes reservation information for us, Drip handles newsletters, and Life Peaks ApS administers gift cards. These services involve processors and subprocessors. We also use email, cloud-hosting, form-security and technical-support providers. Payment processors, card acquirers, accounting providers, advisers and public authorities may receive relevant information where necessary. Some providers act as independent controllers for their own purposes, such as statutory checks, security and service administration. Technical processing relies on our legitimate interest in secure operation and abuse prevention (Article 6(1)(f)). Legally required disclosures rely on Article 6(1)(c)).

Meta and advertising

When Meta Pixel is used for advertising, we and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited are joint controllers for collecting and transmitting information about your actions on the website to Meta. Meta is an independent controller for subsequent processing for its own purposes. You can contact us at info@restaurantstruktur.dk about your rights. Meta’s privacy policy is available at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/ and the joint-controller agreement at https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum.

Processing outside the EEA

Information may be processed outside the EEA, including in the United States, through our newsletter, analytics, marketing and cloud providers and gift-card subprocessors. The transfer basis depends on the recipient: a European Commission adequacy decision, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for covered certified US recipients, or European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses with necessary supplementary measures. Drip’s agreement describes the Data Privacy Framework with Standard Contractual Clauses as an alternative; Google’s transfer framework also includes both mechanisms. Cloud-provider agreements include Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the Data Privacy Framework. LifePeaks uses US subprocessors for receipt delivery and associated hosting. Contact info@restaurantstruktur.dk for details of a specific recipient, the transfer basis or a copy of the relevant safeguards.

Your rights

You may request access and correction and, where the conditions apply, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and always to direct marketing. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact info@restaurantstruktur.dk. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency at datatilsynet.dk. Information necessary for a reservation or purchase must be supplied to complete it; newsletter subscription is not required.
